Anyone for Pixie's?

Anyone for Anya have a fab sketch this week and you can now use CC Designs images for their challenges - I thinks that's pretty fabbalicious...

So here's my card:

I flipped the sketch round {a sketch that I just follow? Unlikely...} and inked up this li'l cutie from the Pixie kit...and then stuck some freaky-weird flowers on...hmmmmmm...

Right gotta go - we've just had a stack of sand-bags dropped on the doorstep. The drain suckers are out too, so I'm thinking it may be about to get very wet around here...

Bunnikins...

Heya all :D
This is yet another speedy post - I just wanted to share this piccie...

Those of you unfortunate enough to have shared {had to listen to} my bunny angst over the past week, will be pleased to hear I finally drew up a pattern I'm happy with! Anyone who doesn't know 'bout the bunny angst - I'll share that tale with you all very soon {betcha can't wait eh?}
Phew...am off now to make one up with straight stitches and arms that aren't just held on with pins ;D

Thanks as always for visiting and the ever-fabby comments,
Happy Tuesday!

Hey Tilda...

Apologies in advance for the incredibly speedy post today - who on earth decided the kids should have another two weeks off school?
A big, big thank you to those who sent Birthday wishes the li'l Horror's way - he had a fab coupl'a days and I have some real "li'l Horrorism" gems to share with you very soon!

Here's a simple little card I made for the Magnolia Down Under "Stitch" challenge...

I'll catch up with you all very soon - thanks for visiting!
Hugs,

I love...

...when you come sneaking in to my room at 3am just in case I "fancy a chat"...

...the fact that your favourite food is Macaroni Cheese...even though you don't like cheese...

...that you once spent an entire day perfecting the art of winking in front of a mirror...

...your complete and utter conviction that one day you're going to Captain England - even though you're actually a little bit Welsh...

Happy Birthday li'l Horror...

Wednesday 24 March 2010

It's official...

...I'm dimensionaly challenged...

The card I envisioned for this week's CCT "Dimensions" challenge was exactly like this. But, ya know...better...

Ah well, I won't moan too much - it does have new Pixies and some MME Contrariness...can't be all bad!

Hugs,
*snort* see the bit on todays CCT post 'bout the word verification/comment moderation? That was me having a moan.
What I actually said was "Can you also add that everyone who has word verification AND comment moderation switched on {why? seriously, WHY??!!} has been personally cursed by me and is destined to be miserable FOREVER."
That's why Caz writes up the posts - no-one would ever join in if it was left to me...

Bloomin' 'eck...

I gotta warn ya peeps, if you're easily bored, it's probably best you leave now - I've gone a bit pic crazy today...

Soooooo, today I'm going for a challenge doubler - it amazes me when I see some peeps entering 20something challenges with one card, I feel like I've cheated a bit if I enter two!
This li'l cutie is for Quirky Crafts "Flower" challenge and the Crafty Catz "Spring" challenge...

I made a paper bag card - just cos I felt like it...

Papers are Pink Paislee, stamps are both by Stampavie - Bernadette admiring the Spring Flowers and a Rachelle Anne Miller sentiment. I've coloured with a mix of PROMarkers and pencils. Flowery things can all be found here...

I'm still in a state of shock over this freaky-weird flowery thing - how the heck did that find it's way on to one of my cards?
Don't tell anyone, but I almost kinda like it...

Have a happy day peeps - I've just opened two rather fabby parcels...
One contained a stack of ATS Pixie Kit rubbah loveliness:

The other some fabric scrumminess:

*happy smile*

Monday 22 March 2010

Happy day...

Happy New Week everyone...

As promised, here's an actual real card that I made...

I love this li'l fella - he looks such a sweetie.
Bet he turns evil when his Mam comes along and tells him to switch it off though...specially when he's playin' Super Smash Bros Brawl or something equally vile...

But anyways...thought I'd get a few challenges entered too, {good way to start the week, yep?} and this li'l cutie fits in with these...
Anya Ink's "Bling" - this is boy-style button and brad bling ;D
The Creative Craft World blog has a "PROMarker" challenge,
and the Crafty Creations Challenges want to see "Spots and Dots"

Okey dokey then peeps - am off now to make Easter bonnets. Easter bonnets that have to look kinda boyish. Hmmmmmm...
Thanks for visiting!
Hugs,

{Oh, yes - I'm still getting a kick outta the list randomizer thingy...}

A seriously huge thank you to everyone for the truly flattering feedback over the li'l pouchy thing - you're all very lovely, ya know - makes me feel bad for not having a pressie for everyone!

Anyways, hope you all have a good evening - I actually have a card to share t'morrow...

A little freebie...

I hate when real life gets in the way of crafty-blog life - it's so darn selfish of it...doesn't real-life know that crafty-blog life is soooooooo much more fun?

Many of you have been lovely enough to ignore my neglectfulness though and still come over and say hi. So I made a pretty li'l pouchy thing as a pressie for one of you :D

Would you like it to be yours?
{don't worry - I won't be sending the random bits of fabric inside it, they were just a photographic prop to stop it looking sad and empty}
If you do fancy owning your very own "Leann-made pouchy thing" {oooooooh, catchy name...}just leave me a comment telling me what you'd use it for {I have several whose only purpose is to sit around looking pretty - they're very good at it}. If there's more than one of you who'd like it, I'll pick a name out on Sunday.

OK, enough of my wittering - I'll see y'all soon,
Hugs,

Tuesday 16 March 2010

I have a confession...

...I've been playing with things like this more than I've been colouring for the past few days...

{and my mouse is being finicky, which makes computer use a wee bit fretful for someone with my patience threshold...}

...everything was dissapearing under a pile of fabric scraps, so I whipped up this li'l pouchy thing to keep 'em all in...

...but I know you really came over to see a card, so I made this just for you...

...s'OK - you can thank me later...

Happy Tuesday!

Upon hearing the news that his {my} beloved Becks may not make the World Cup, li'l Horror turned to me in complete wide-eyed seriousness and said he'd "better ring Fabio and let him know I'm free. I'll probably need new boots though..."
Yes sweetheart.
You do that...

Sunday 14 March 2010

Huh?

Couldn't resist inking up this li'l fella when I saw him in amongst my "patiently awaiting attention" stamp pile - isn't he just a darlin'?!

Papers and stamp can both be found over at Dies to Die For
{make sure you check out all the new Stampavie releases while you're over there!}

I made this li'l sweetie for the One Stop Craft's "Spots And Dots" challenge :D
I'm on a post and run again today - big thank you's for all the lovely comments and visits, they're very much appreciated :D

Sooooo, with a quick "Happy Mother's Day" to all the UK mum's, I'm off!
Catch ya laters,

Friday 12 March 2010

Hello Spring...

Mornin' all :D

Reeeeeeeally quick post today - I have a list longer than a giant's arm of things to do today and really should get cracking on with them!

I made this little cutie for the Skattykats "Think Spring" challenge {cos obviously scarecrows are always the first thing that come to mind when Spring is mentioned...}

Scrumptious papers can be found here, Rachelle Ann Miller's Stampavie range can be found here

Right, I'm off - have a delightful day!
Hugs,

Hey sweetie...{and a bit of a weekly round-up kinda thang}

Heya all :D
'K, first up today is one of this weeks Little Musings Friday freebies...

...yup - there are two freebies this week!!!!
Both "Lillian" and the extra special "Cuddle with Mum" can be downloaded for absolutely free over at SJ's blog - thank you SJ!

...............................................

Now, how's about a bit of a Friday "show & tell"?

Hmmmmm, this week I made myself a new pincushion...

...some finger puppets for the Horrors'...
{the li'l Horror has decided I must make him a stuffed monster - so I've also been scribbling out patterns for that}

...and I had a real "aaaaaaaw" moment when I found this photo...

{don't they both just look so happy together - is it really possible that after just three days of being in each others lives, they'd had enough already??}

Sooooo, what've you been up to this week?
I'm exceptionally nosey, so would love to hear all about it!

Hugs,

Thursday 11 March 2010

It's a Celebratin' kinda day...

Guess what??!!!
CCT is
two today!!!!

We're celebrating our birthday by setting the theme of errrr...Celebrations - well really, what else could it've been?!

I don't think any of us expected to still be going two years down the line, but I'm so glad we are - I thought it rather fitting this week to make a card that celebrates friendship cos I love them CCT girls ya know {see? even I can get sentimental at times...}
There weren't many card challenge blogs around when we started {rather hard to believe these days} and the ones there were took themselves a bit too seriously for our liking - we wanted everyone to remember that crafting's s'posed to be fun and really shouldn't have "rules" (good job, or I'd've been shown the door long ago).

Soooooo, wanna come join in the Celebratin'?
Course ya do - but go have a giggle at the samples we made for our very first challenge here first *snort*

A big, big thank you to darling Anita for passing this award over my way...

I'll pass it right on to everyone who comes over here to say hello, think of it as my gift to you all for helping us make CCT pretty damn fabby...

Hugs,

Monday 8 March 2010

Whoooo-hoooo!!!!

The Stampavie Challenges are back!!!
After our break from the challenges so we could make {and then show!} you all our CHA samples, we're back with Challenge #19 - Spring...

I kept mine very simple {kinda like myself...}, I adore Mo's images and really like them to be the focus of the card. I thought Bella here looked like she was soaking up a li'l bit of Spring sunshine :D Do go and check out what the other girls have created - gorgeous as ever!

We'd love to see you all join in with us...and, as always, there's a secret prize on offer!

Hugs,

Stampavie stamps are stocked over at Dies to Die For - the Mo Manning range can be found here. Keep an eye out for the new CHA releases - they will be arriving very soon!

Sunday 7 March 2010

Got 'Bots?

Wanna meet my new favouritest, bestest stamp?
Yeah, course ya do!

Isn't he just the best?
As you've all probably gathered, I love making boys cards {no need for freaky-weird flowers on 'em} and I've been searching for the perfect Robot for a loooooong time - and now I have it!!!!
*insert happiest of happy squeal*

You can get your very own perfect 'bot right here at Dies to Die For and there are even the perfect 'bot papers and embellies here too - thank you MME and Pink Cat Studio for listening to those subliminal messages I've been sending both your ways...

I'm so enamoured with my perfect 'bot that I couldn't stop at makin' just a card - I made a li'l bookmark to tuck inside too.
I made this li'l fella to fit in with three challenges - ABC's "Paper Piecing" {the li'l green bit on his tummy, 'case you were a'wonderin'!}, Papertake Weeklys' "Buttons, Bows, Brads & Bling" {think I must've been saving those fabby screw-top brads for this chappie!} and last, but not least Sew Many Challenges "one For the Boys"

*sigh*
Love it when a stamp you've wanted forever lands in your inky li'l fingers...

Happy Sunday all,

Friday 5 March 2010

Hey Pixie...

Look who I found while rummaging around in a pile of stash...

*happiest of happy sighs*
Love you lovely Pixie...

I made this li'l darlin' for the Passion for ProMarkers "Back to Nature" challenge and got so back to nature with it I stuck a whole bunch of freaky-weird flowers on it...

Some serious scrumminess going on here - quite apart from my beloved Pixie (who can be found here), there's even more MME Quite Contrary-ness.
These are from the "Jack & Jill" collection and can be found here at Dies to Die For or here at CleoCrafts...

I also have a card for the PaperPlay "Just Because" challenge...

My littlest big brother and I spent much of the late '90's {drunkenly} singing parodies of karaoke classics in the Student Union {£50 cash to be won each Thursday...desperate times you understand}. Our version of "You're so Vain" was a definite fave - anyone who ever had to fight over the bathroom as a teen will surely be able to guess the way that particular song went ;D I have no doubt that if we'd spent a fraction of the time actually studying as we did writing those parodies, we'd both be actual real geniuses right about now...

So yeah...the card...
It's a "just because I knew as soon as I saw this stamp that I was gonna make this card as a celebration of the wasted student years of two siblings" just because kinda card.
He started singin' when he opened it...

Right, I'm off - typing all that with only one working eye was rather tricky. If this gooeyness carries on much longer I shall be taking Annie's advice and making myself an eye patch. Probably a pink gingham one. With bling and ribbons...
Hugs,

Just in case anyone fancies a little sing-a-long {c'mon, you're singing it already aren't ya?} here's Ms Simon's original version.
Ya ready? One, two, three...
"You walked into the party, like you were walking onto a yacht.
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye, your scarf it was apricot..."
