Thanks Marlou!

Aaaaaw, look what Marlou sent me!
I'm going to pass this on to Lynn for recognising the brilliance that is spotty sage, Terrie for realising I have a real serious addiction & Liz for actually inventing spotty sage.
Hmmmmmm, maybe I should I invent a new "spread the spotty sage love" award...

giddy up...

This little sweetie dropped through my letterbox this morning & I had just enough time to have a play with him before the big horror came home from school & claimed it as his... Oh, & don't worry Andrea ~ yours were posted before he got back!

You cheer me up too!

two super fabby ladies {not actually sure about the word "ladies" ~ anyone else just picture Matt Lucas & David Walliams everytime they hear that word?} Terrie & Annie just awarded me this ~ right back at ya girls!
Now I'm meant to pass this on to someone who cheers me up, but I have a little problem here, because you ALL cheer me up & it would take me forever to type out all those names, link them up, leave you a comment to let you know... So if you're reading this, you cheer me up & get the award, ok??!!

I've also been tagged by Annie & Lynn ~ I'm not ignoring this, I'm still trying to think of something witty & intelligent to write... ;)

Happy Birthday Jasmine...

It's very rare that I remember to take pics of the cards that aren't made for challenges, but I actually did with this one, must have been having a rare not-so-blonde moment... ;)

Dydd Santes Dwynwen {no, I haven't gone mad ~ it's welsh...}

Today is Saint Dwynwen's Day, which is kind of the Welsh Valentines day!
So here's my Dydd Santes Dwynwen card for you all, cos I loves you all :)
{this is actually one of the cards I made for Emma over at RibbonMad, but I thought today was a good day to show you all!}

the cheek of some people...

The Funky Fairy's want something with wings this week ~ obviously this just had to be lovely Tilda...
So I made this little hanger thingy & while I was taking a piccie, in walked my friend Jules. "Oooooh," she said, "thats coming home with me"...
Should I be flattered that people want stuff I've made hanging round their houses, or admit that I have very cheeky friends & go find myself some new ones...? ;)

silver stars...

Here's my card for this weeks Tilda & co challenge "shiny silver". I've used a 7gypsies buckle { I got mine from RibbonMad} & even though you can't really see it, I stamped Tilda's star onto silver card too! The star is actually from another Tilda stamp ~ have a peek at Deb's blog to see how it should look ;)

Go & have a looksie at the challenge here ~ I can't wait to see all your shiny silverness :)

no more spotty sage after this, i promise!!! {not for a while anyway...}

This is the "creation" that started this weeks obsession with the gorgeous spotty sage, but I couldn't let you see cos it's my DT piece for this weeks Tilda & co number challenge!
I'm awful at remembering birthdays, yes they are written on my calendar, but this gets swamped with kid stuff, so birthday's end up lost amongst the scribbles reminding me when swimming lessons are & which days the trumpet needs to go to school!
Sooooo...now li'l Edwin hangs above my craft desk, with everyone's birthday written on ~ I've been meaning to make something along these lines for ages & when Donna's email arrived telling me what this weeks challenge was, I was finally given the push I needed!

Only another 11 to make...

thank you...

Michelle has got some yummy blog candy up for grabs on her blog - all you need to do is make her a thank you card, the closing date is monday, so you've got AGES to join in :)

i printed out a sheet of pink petticoat {sage} big bloomers paper, then printed the "thank you" onto it. i'm loving this paper at the mo, especially after finding this gorgeous Heidi Swapp skinny ribbon from RibbonMad that matches perfectly {it's at the top, under the button!}

you make my day...

Lovely Deb & Anne just awarded me this - thanks!!!

the rules are:

Give the award to up to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel so happy about blogland! Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so that they can pass it on. Beware! You may get the award several times! So, to narrow it down to ten….

how do i pick just 10??? ok, here goes...

1: Deb {yep, she gets it right back!}
2. Dawn {she's been with me from the start!}
3. Donna {really made my day by actually giving me a reason to buy more Tilda's!}
4. Annie {she's just fab!}
5. Marlou {well we ALL love her, don't we?!}
6. Andrea {another of my very first visitors :) }
7. Claudia { i only 'met' her a few days ago, but i loves her already!}
8. Lynn {her bloggy name is glitter monkey - i really do get visions of an actual glittery monkey every time i see she's left me a comment...}
9. Terrie B {she's just fab too!}
10. Rein {yep, another fab one!}

ooooh - that was soooo hard, everyone who comes for a visit makes my day :)

it's soooo pink...

The Funky Fairys have a sketch challenge this week & since my printer ink FINALLY arrived this morning, i decided to use some of the soooo pink "pinkie pops" papers. i've gotta just mention that these print out fan-flippin'-tastically - i always print out papers on my printers "best" setting, but cos Shaz claims you don't have to with her downloads i decided to put them to the test!!! these were printed on a middle-ish setting & they're perfect :)

all pp from Funky Fairys Papercrafts, flowers made using pink petticoats Big Bloomers templates

Oh - i scribbled "thanks" on it, so now it's a thank you card & therefore eligible for the Papertake Weekly challenge too... :)

new...

here's my 'new' li'l munchkin card for this weeks DCM dare - i seem to be surrounded by new babies at the mo & found out this morning that one of my bestest friends is pregnant - whoo-hoo!!!!!

sugar buttons...

sweet li'l Nellie came out to help me with this weeks Arty Girlz challenge - buttons {i lurves buttons! - i also lurves these gorgeous crochet flowers, mine came from The Scrummy Stash Cafe}

soooo... 1 Sugar Nellie, 1 flower {with a BUTTON in the middle - just in case you missed it!}, some yummy BG mellow pp & a little bit of ribbon & i have a card all ready to go in my "I need a card for so&so, Leann & I need it NOW" stash!!! {anybody else have this problem? friends who think you just magic up cards in seconds? this is why i very rarely put a sentiment on anything!!}

hang on a minute...

...if i'm on the DT i can't win the blog candy can i??? stoopid rules...

get yourselves over to the rather fabby new tilda & co challenge bloggy where you CAN win some candy - all you need to do is create something with a magnolia image & a flower on, easy peasy!

i'm doing a bit of forward planning & making a start on all those valentine's i'm going to be sending {yeah right!}, so for my first DT card i've used tilda with a heart {she actually had a few hearts, but i wasn't going to cut out the teeny tiny things...}, popped her on some acetate, lined it with some bazzill & added the biggest flowers i could find in my stash!

now last time i blogged an acetate card i asked for tips about photographing them - penny i haven't ignored your advice, it's just that my windows are a bit erm, grubby...

Sunday, 6 January 2008

aaaaaarrrggghhh!!! {again, but in a good way this time!}

sooooo...while blog-hoppin' earlier i stumbled accross this fabby new challenge blog - "a blog just for 'lovely tilda' who are looking for DT members" i thought " damn right i'm gonna have a go!" & if you would now just cast your eyes to the right of your screen you'll see that i just flippin' made it!!! {how smiley am i right now?!

big thanks to Donna & congratulations to all the other oh so talented DT girls x x

{oh & remember to come have a peek HERE & check out the challenges every sunday!}

aaaaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!!

stoopid flippin' blogger won't let me upload any pics :(

anyways - happy 2008 everybody!

blingy tilda & her scrappy knight...

now originally these were 2 different cards for 2 different challenges - blingy tilda for Papertake Weekly, scrappy knight for Scrummy Stash Cafe - but...in a {rare} moment of pure genius i noticed that they both bling {tilda's cute ickle shoes & scrappy's *twinkling* armour} & they were both made from scraps...
