Blah...

This is on it's way to my lovely great-uncle John {we have a theory that everyone has an Uncle John ~ is this true??!!}
I can't remember who this stamp is by, but I know I brought it purely because my Uncle John used to live in a lighthouse :)
I've based my card on the latest sketch over at Sketch Saturday & used papers from Kaboodle Doodles grey paper pack.

I must apologise for my lack of commenting this past week & thank everyone who has been to say hello. The Little Horror had me worried sick all week ~ he {unfortunately} takes after me & sleeps very little {he stopped having daytime naps when he was about 6 months old!}, so when he crawled into bed a few days ago just after lunchtime saying he was tired I nearly had a fit! After panic stricken doctors visits he's now on the mend ~ I guess he was just tired after all ;)

I love this Leann, it is just such a fab card for a blokee. The image is absolutely stunning. Marvellous in fact. And your colouring in is awesome xxx

I don't actually have an Uncle John chicken. I do have an Unce Bill, and Uncle Ed and an Uncle Joe. Do they count per chance????

And how fab to have an uncle who lived in a lighthouse!! OMG how exotic is that!! We havent got any exotic in our family. We did have a Persian cat once. That's a bit exotic I suppose xxxx

Hope lil horror boy is ok. Bit scary when they go all out of character, bless him. Hugs all round xxxxx

Glad to hear that littl'un was just tired!! lol.. But good for you for being a caring mum.

This card, mrs, is one of the best I have seen for a while. I absolutely LOVE it!! I love that it looks hand-sketched on canvas, and the weather-beaten appearance of the layers. Wonderful!

What a fantastic card sweetie. Infact you have a blog full of them no wonder you are on the KD team!! - I just hope that Angela doesn't post my feeble attempts at crafting anywhere near the stunningness of your creations!!

love the lighthouse and your black/white colouring. No Uncle John in our family, not a living one anyway - but I do have an ancestor who was a lighthouse keeper on the Pembrokeshire coast, but his name was Tom! annie x
