Ouch...

Here's a quick card card I put together last night using sketch #17 over at the Sketch Saturday blog.

I've woken up with the most awful eye-screaming, head-splitter of a headache, which I'm really not happy about cos I had great plans for today! I was going to work my way through the huge pile of projects I need to get finished, spend an hour or so catching up on everyones blogs, tidy the Big Horrors pit of a bedroom and mow the lawn, but I'm almost crying after just 5 minutes in front of the pc screen ~ oh well, there's always tomorrow!

This is on it's way to my lovely great-uncle John {we have a theory that everyone has an Uncle John ~ is this true??!!}
I can't remember who this stamp is by, but I know I brought it purely because my Uncle John used to live in a lighthouse :)
I've based my card on the latest sketch over at Sketch Saturday & used papers from Kaboodle Doodles grey paper pack.

I must apologise for my lack of commenting this past week & thank everyone who has been to say hello. The Little Horror had me worried sick all week ~ he {unfortunately} takes after me & sleeps very little {he stopped having daytime naps when he was about 6 months old!}, so when he crawled into bed a few days ago just after lunchtime saying he was tired I nearly had a fit! After panic stricken doctors visits he's now on the mend ~ I guess he was just tired after all ;)

Rainy days...

Just a quick post today before I go & do my good mommy bit at Big Horrors school {I'm thinking of decking myself out in full chef's whites, just to embarrass him completely & make sure he never volunteers me again...}.

I've combined Sketch Saturday's sketch #6 with the Dutch Dare challenge to use just one piece of pp ~ I had to use my absolute all-time fave BG LilyKate :)
