...is what I have planned - there's a cup of Fortnums tea, maybe a chocolate or two and the fantastically trashy new Dan Brown** waiting for me, so only a quickie post today!
Here's the gorgeous li'l Pumpkin Emma all autumned up for this weeks SpoonFull of Sugar challenge - Thanks girls for giving me the perfect excuse to ink her up and break into some of the new Pink Paislee Amber Road pp I've been stroking for the past week! This card was a real feat of masking patience for me and I'm still amazed that I stuck with all the cutting that goes along with masking! Along with Emma I've also used an old magnolia fence and some bits from the Sugarplum Halloween set.
Have a good Friday peeps!
**I must point out, to those of you who don't know, I will read anything. For all my dumb blond persona, I can actually quote Shakespeare, Chaucer, Shelley, Austen et al until you beg me to shush. I adore books - the cracking open of a new one, the smell of the pages, the way all those tiny letters have the ability to take the reader away from reality - and love nothing more than seeing people sat in a park, on a train, anywhere, utterly engrossed in a book. Mr. Brown may not be up there with the greats, but his fantastic brand of shock-trash has resulted in people missing their bus stop because they're lost in his words. That's genius.
