Time for candy...

Anybody want an envelope dropping through their letterbox that contains oodles of ribbon, some bloomin' gorgeous blooms & an oh so yummy Magnolia "mumsilimums" stamp?{that's the li'l strawberry cupcakes if you're wondering!}
I'm in a shockingly good mood today so all I'm going to ask you to do is leave a comment under this post & I'll pop your name into a draw next friday {march 7th}.
If you leave a comment AND put a link to this post on your blog I'll put your name in twice...

****The Blog Candy draw has now finished peeps ~ thanks for joining in :)***

Mmmmmmm ribbon...

This is one of the cards I made using the latest RibbonMad kit ~ these ribbons are super yum & I think there are still a few left! Better be quick though...

***ETA: The kit's all sold out peeps ~ I feel rather sorry for those of you who didn't get one cos it's lush...

I want some spotty red wellies...

There's some scrummy yummy candy up for grabs on CraftyB's blog ~ so here's my cute li'l Tilda in her spotty red wellies :)

You can join in the yummy candyness {I really must stop using such daft words...} here!

**ETA: Super-fabby Lynn found me some spotty red wellies ~ ooooh I does love her!

Going digidol*...

Just had to have a play with these yummy Prima Hybrid downloads & the end result fits perfectly with the latest challenges over at Papertake Weekly & Arty Girlz. Oooooh & the little birdie means it fits in with the My Time to Craft challenge too!

Picture's rather shabby, not sure why ~ it couldn't possibly be my {lack of} photography skills, could it?

*Digidol is Digital in welsh, but funnier...well it makes me giggle anyway ;)

Just to let you all know...

...I took Lynns advice & sorted out Edwins boulder with a bit of Sakura magic ~ being me though I forgot to take a pic before it went on its merry way!
Must admit though that for me this stamp will forever more be known as Edwin with boulder...

Mojo's still AWOL...

...but I thought I'd just work through it! Thanks to everyone who let me know their top tips for missing mojos yesterday :)

So here is my take on the latest Ismaki sketch, this is on it's way to my godson who has just started playing for his local junior pro footie team ~ way to go Alfie!

I'm thinking a li'l bit of blog candy is in order sometime this week, so make sure you come back soon to have a peek...

ETA: The big horror has just pointed out that Edwin looks more like he's about throw a boulder than a football & I have to agree with him... ;)

Under the weather...

You absolutely MUST go & have a look at the super fabby creations the rest of the girls have made for this weeks Tilda & co challenge ~ truly amazing stuff from all!
The theme this week is "wishing you well" ~ we want you to make something to cheer up a sickly person ;)
I dug out brolly Tilda & some yummy MME papers ~ I ignored this poor stamp for months, but I'm loving it now!

I seem to be suffering from major crafters block at the mo, which is a bit of a nuisance cos I've got piles of stuff I need to get making, but nothing I make seems very good...oh well, maybe I just need to work through it!

Skiving...

Now I should be cooking approximately 4 million sausage rolls right now for a do we're catering tomorrow, but I just had to have a play with this li'l cutie...

Super fabby Lynn is celebrating 100 posts with some mega blog candy & to justify my skiving I'm going to enter this card into her comp, cos if I made it for a reason, it's not actually skiving is it?

Aaaaaw, this was my first Tilda stamp...

...if only I'd known when I bought it that a very expensive obsession had just begun!

The theme over at Papertake this week is spring, I went for spring-like colours ~ mostly because I lurve these imaginise papers & absolutely needed to use them!

Hope everyone's having a lovely Monday :)

Have just realised how very squiffy the pic is, one day I'll learn how to take a decent photo...

String-a-ling...

I LOVED this weeks Tilda & co challenge, but then I do have a bit of a thing for string!
I used some scrummy MME papers to make this little pocket album thing ~ I'm thinking about popping all my favourite recipes in there so that they're all actually written down in one place, rather than scribbled on bits of paper & dotted round my kitchen!
The DT have created some gorgeous stuff this week, you can have a peek at their work here & check out the latest challenge :)

drip,drip,drop little April showers...

I've made this for Nicola's sketch challenge, which you can check out here :)
Nicola makes the most gorgeously simple cards, nothing at all like my usual style. Well you know me ~ why use 1 piece of ribbon when you have 3? A sweet li'l prima? No, I've got some whopping great 5 inch blooms I can stick on...
Sooooo, I have to admit I struggled with this one, but I rather like the end result!

Pic's kinda pants sorry, but you know ~ it is a bit dark now... ;)

A sketch gone {a bit} wrong...

Super fantabulous Claudia is giving away more fabby blog candy & all you have to do is make a card using your favourite colours. Now I think my love {obsession} with spotty sage has been recognised, so obviously this was my first choice. However, I decided to have a peek around for some inspiration & came across Di's latest sketch. Spotty sage wasn't quite right for this, so instead I used flowery sage ~ whoohoo!!!
As you can see I lost the sketch somewhere in my interpretation, but I tried & that's what counts right?

I've just recieved this award from Andrea ~ thank you Andrea, I think your blog's rather excellent too!
Now it's my turn to pass it on & I'm giving it to Dawn & Terrie, 2 super-talented girls whose blogs I love & who always make me smile with the {sometimes daft} comments they leave me ~ girls, you're officially excellent!

My turn to PIF...

I recieved this fabby little bundle of stash this morning from Jo, so now it's my turn to Pass-It-Forward ~ you all know how this works don't you?!
First 3 to leave me a comment on this post will get a little treat from me dropping through their letterbox :)

I love you always...

When the big horror was little he used to ask how long I would love him for ~ the answer was of course I'll love you always!
As soon as I saw this week's Scrummy Stash challenge these two came to mind, {they are after all, my greatest love, yes ~ even before chocolate...} & I love this stripey MME paper which ties in rather nicely with this weeks Papertake challenge!
I've used some of my fabby free mountboard stash to make this little photo thing {I don't know what to call it!} & it now has pride of place on my desk :)

Love you always my darling horrors...

Sunshine...

Just a quick post, the sun is shining gloriously so I'm going to hang out the washing then sit at my craft desk to make the most of some actual real daylight!
This is my take on this weeks Daring Cardmakers sketch {made with odds & ends I found after my mammoth tidy a few days ago}, after once declaring I hated sketch challenges {possibly something to do with me not liking being told what to do...} I'm quite liking them now!
Hope the sun is shining wherever you are :)

Ooooooh, have you seen what you can win?

Yep, there's a rather fabby prize up for grabs over on Tilda & co this week & all you have to do is recycle your mum...
Well ok, thats not entirely true, but there is a fabby prize if you make something on a mothers day theme with something you've recycled ;)
So I made this little box thing {there are tutorials for these all over the place, this one is probably the clearest}, but instead of using coasters I used some mountboard & chopped it up to make my own coasters. I recently found out that a local framing shop throws out all the middle bits of mounts they've cut, how wasteful is that??!! I'm now drowning in mountboard cos they very kindly let me have loads of it ~ after the rather long lecture I gave involving the future of the planet, carbon footprints, global warming, all those poor trees...

Anyway, to see the gorgeous prize & the other DT's work go & have a look here ~ I can't wait to see how you recycle your mothers!

Errr ~ nothing to show you I'm afraid, my Nestabilities have arrived so I've spent my day cutting out bits of card & saying "Oooooh, how clever"...

Marie Curie cards...

10 of these little babies were posted off today ~ you can find out all the details for this fabby cause here ~ do go & have a read & pleeeeaase join in & make a card, after all, isn't that what we do best? ;)
If you need a bit more of a sweetener Nikki is offering the chance to win some blog candy here for all those who do join in :)

So in love with you...

Yay, I've actually done it! Here {finally} is my card for Marlou :)
I think I've covered everything...

I'm not hiding anything under the flower ~ok?!

I was working on this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge, when I thought I'd go & see if the Arty Girlz had posted their latest challenge yet. Whoo-hoo ~ it was so perfect!!!
So here's a bloom {for PTW} in a frame {for the Arty Girlz} :)

Everything I've used came from out of a {messy} drawer, so I have no idea where they're from, apart from the pp which is by Making Memories.

I'm off to see if I can create something for Marlou's blog candy now ~ hopefully I'm not too late!

stamping for Fran...

Fran has a big bundle of candy to give away ~ you can have a peek here.
I inked up this gorgeous Rubber Romance stamp & set to work decorating a bottle of bubble bath!
The pics are awful I know, but it's sooooo dark here ~ I don't think the lights have gone off since we got up this morning :( If by some miracle a li'l ray of sunshine appears I'll take a new pic!

spotty lilac pockets...

Here's my card for this week's Arty Girlz "pockets" challenge ~ this was soooo hard to photograph, so I apologise!
Sue has some fabby blog candy up for grabs too, all she asks is that you make her a purpley-lilacy card!

I'm suffering from a bit of a new stash overload at the mo ~ my new Nellie's remain un-inked, most of my new Magnolia's have only been inked to send the images to other people, & quite possibly the biggest pile of new paper ever is sitting on my kitchen table ~ I just don't know what to play with first! I also gave in & ordered some Nestabilities a few days ago...

pp from pink petticoat, image kindly stamped by Andrea ~ thank you!

My heart to you is given...

This week at Tilda & co everyone's feeling a li'l loved up ~ you can check out the challenge here :)
I went for a nice easy card this week, yummy BG paper, scraps of ribbon & {just for you Lynn!} the biggest freakin' flower I could find... ;)

make a note...

Now I'm the sort of girl who needs to make notes, my life would fall to pieces if I didn't have those little yellow sticky bits of paper everywhere reminding me to pay the phone bill, put the bins out, feed the children...
Claudia has a fab tutorial for chipboard post-it note covers on her blog, which for obvious reasons really appealed to me! I adapted the idea a bit cos my post-its live on my fridge & chipboard would have been too heavy, so I've made a cover out of some Bazzill Basics & popped a little magnet on the back ~ perfectly pretty little notes!

Claudi's tutorial is here :)

Go have a peek at this li'l darlings story here :)
