A couple for today...

...First up is my ATC for this weeks Tilda & Friends "Punch It!" challenge. How typical that with all the punches I have, I manage to use a grand total of one on this!!!! This was even speedier than ATC's usually are to make cos I used up some leftover bits from the Edward card I made last week.



Next is my card for Annie's K.I.S.S challenge...





I love that Annie has started this - blogland needs a bit more simplicity. Well, I reckon it does anyways ;)

Baby it's cold outside...

...why am I making Christmas schtuff already? We all know that come December I'll have forgotten where I put it...

But there was actually a purpose to this li'l bag - you may have noticed I have a little, tiny obsession with October Afternoon...I buy the paper collections, use 'em til they run out {then buy more...}, but never, ever use the die-cut sheets. Why? They're lovely! I know they're lovely because I have a huge un-used pile of 'em...

So I thought I'd use some to make a li'l Chrimbo bag. I chopped a paper bag in half and set about decorating, kinda using the sketch over at the Secret Crafter challenge .

Then I realised I could tie it in with this week's Tilda & Friends challenge where we're magically turning our ATC's into sumfin else...go have a peeky here :) Mine became a li'l gift tag y'see...

I'll be back soonest with another card - I'm sure I scheduled it, but it seems I didn't. Must be the blondness...

Bad, bad blogger...

Spring is in the air over at Tilda & Friends this week & how perfect that this li'l High Hopes beauty arrived on my doorstep from Dies to Die For. I always forget just how flippin' fab High Hopes stamps are until I ink them up!

Happy Birthday...

Why do we spend sooooo much on toys when a giant box of washing powder is all that's needed for several hours play? Yes, it made a terrible mess & I could've screamed when the li'l monster trod it all through the house & up the stairs, but hey, the carpet smells Persil-tastic... ;)

Anyone else absolutely flippin' freezin'? Luckily we're "Warmin' it up" over on Tilda & Friends this week ~ anything goes as long as it makes you feel all cozy :)




I've been having a good ole rummage through my stamps earlier ~ I can't believe how many I have that just don't get a chance to see ink anymore :( It actually makes me really sad, so you may see a few popping up on here for sale very soon! Mostly older Magnolia's, I just don't have the time to use them at the mo.

Cottage pie for tea tonight ~ "I like the pie, but the cottage is a bit nasty" piped up the little Horror. Okaaaaaay...

There's a little recipe for you over at Tilda & Friends this week ~ one button, two ribbons & three flowers.
I kinda cheated a little bit & used this oh so pretty Tilda {a definate fave at the mo!} who already has one flower ~ I just noticed that she has a ribbon in her hair & one on her dress too!



I then popped my ATC onto a mini card blank cut with the biggest rectangle nestie ~ cute huh?!

So before the big Horror went away there were some huge old fights about the DS ~ Little Horror doesn't have one of his own {he's only three for goodness sake} & big Horror isn't too keen on sharing. Little Horror had sussed that while his brother was at camp he could play on the DS all day long should he so wish.
Can you even imagine the tantrum when it was discovered that someone had hidden the battery for it? War was declared. Big Horror's due home any minute & honestly, I'm fearing for his life...

Here comes Santa Claus...

So, my cards have all been posted, the *tree's up & Santa just made his **pre-Christmas Eve visit...I'm starting to get a little bit excited ;)

*I have seen some stunning pictures of tree's popping up on everyone's blogs over the past few weeks ~ I would love one of those glittery, colour-co-ordinated beauties in my living room. However, the Horror's decorate ours every year ~ I put up the tree {which is a sight in itself, we've had it years & I can't bear the thought of throwing it away!}, give them the decorations box & leave them to it. They've outdone themselves this year, one poor branch has 6 baubles hanging off it, every glittery piece of cotton wool covered plastic they've brought home from school over the years is hanging on it, the top half isn't decorated cos they can't reach & do you know what? I love every unco-ordinated, tacky bit of it!...



**Every year the local RNLI boys bring Santa round for a little pre-Chrimbo visit. The fabby thing about living in such a tiny place is the fact that they know not only which houses have excited little children in them, but also the names of each & every one of those kids. The downside is that non-believing 8year olds can instantly recognise whoever's got the suit on this year...
"Come & have a chat with me Caleb" said the dude in red to the little Horror.
"Yeah, Cals, go & say hello to Pete" said the big Horror, with an evil, I'm too old for this look in his eye.
"It's not Pete" said the little Horror. "Only Santa's that fat."

Ooooops, late blogging these again...


First up is my CCT card ~ this week we want to see some Punchtastic creations, I used my new favourite SU spiral punch & my old favourite corner rounder {I'll not mention the other punch that was supposed to be on there that I somehow broke...}



Next is my Tilda & Friends ATC for this week. Frosty nights is the theme & I went for the super easy option of just one stamp ~ I was going to add a little chilly looking person, but then it would've looked exactly like last weeks!

Must just mention the big Horrors school play ~ he was an absolute star! All that 6am trumpet practise obviously payed off & if all else fails at least he'll be able to make a career for himself as a busker... ;)
However, as is usually the case, the little Horror {who isn't even in that school yet} totally stole the spotlight from everyone else. He sat throught the first half beautifully, but obviously couldn't contain himself for the second half & spent most of it whispering very loudly "Emlyn. Emlyn. EMLYN ~ DO YOU WANT A SWEET?" Not so bad you may think, but what if you I told you that Emlyn {AKA Mr. Jones} is actually the Headmaster...

**The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

Pink overload...

First up tonight is my ATC for Tilda & Friends. We're soft & fluffy this week ~ all the details are here :) After a hugely annoying incident with some fun-flock, I took the easy option & used some soft & fluffy trim...
I've used lots of lovely bits {including the gorgeous stamp!} from my candy win over at Sue's ~ thank you Sue!


Next up is a card with the very beautiful Celeste ~ isn't she just gorgeous?! And cos she's just so sparkly I'm gonna enter her into this weeks PTW challenge ;)


I made a little matching gift bag too, cos all the best fairies need a pretty bag, right?
