Paul txtin'...

A quick little Stampavie card for Papertake's Anything Goes challenge...

Gotta dash - there's a rather delish smell of vanilla shortbread coming from the oven and nothing'll keep me from shortbread... ;)

Miss you a Latte...

A quick little card for Papertake's Anything Goes challenge...

The optional extra this week is to use something old - hmmmmm, it's a tough call between the sewing machine that's so old it would be classed as vintage if it were a car, or the corner rounder punch I can remember buying before the big Horror was born... :)

Happy Sunday

Hey sweetheart...

I have a little card to share today made with both  Secret Crafter and Papertake's latest challenges in mind...

Oooops, looking at my pictures now, I realise I forgot to add the Papertake Optional Extra to my card - I know I cut and measured some lace so I'm guessing it's still sat on my desk somewhere!

I've used one of the new Pink Petticoat Tiny {sweetheart} Sentiments - these have already gone very high up on my favourites list, they're very, very sweet!
And I must tell you that a new Pink Petticoat competition has just been announced - you can see all the details here

Have a great day, thanks for popping by!

Happy Birthday Papertake!

So one of my favouritest challenge blogs is celebrating its' 3rd birthday - how could I not join in?!
{Hmmmm, if Papertake is 3, I guess this li'l blog must be too - eeeeek!}
I had such a hard time picking out just one favourite challenge from over there - so I picked a year {2008} and went with my faves from that year :)

Coloured with ProMarkers
Papers: Crate Paper Little Sprout

Sooooo, the challenges I picked are....

.............................................................

Thank you Papertake lovelies for all the inspiration over the years - enjoy your birthday!

Just because...

I have some Sarah Kay sweetness to share today - PTW's "In the Garden" challenge had me itching to get inking one!

Head on over to Dies to Die For if you're in need of a Sarah Kay fix :D

Ooooooh have you seen the Stampavie blog today? The new DT members have been announced! A big welcome to you all from me :D

'Kay that's it from me - thanks for hoppin' along!

So poxy...

...'member I said I had a busy ol' week coming up? Well, wouldn't you just know that that busy ol' week would begin with the li'l Horror showing me some poxy-lookin' spots about his person...
Oh joy...

The plus side of his being contaminated is that I got to play a little yesterday while he snoozed...and I completely and utterly fell in love with this little chappie:

Isn't he just adorable?! You can find him here at DTDF.

So, you see how it's a card with a boy on? And it has a flower on it even though I have that freaky-weird flower thing? When I saw the Papertake "Do something different challenge" I decided to make a boys card with a freaky-weird flower on it - could it be any different for me?
He also fits in rather cutely with the Crafty Angels "Summer" challenge :D

'kay peeps, I'm off - catch y'all soonest,

English? Nah, I'd rather speak BBC Tweenie...

There's a fabbarooney* sketch over at Papertake this week - that Pigster's pretty freakin' good at her sketches isn't she?

I couldn't resist giving li'l Max here an inking and yes, I did find myself drawn yet again to a bit of MME Quite Contrariness {ha! betcha thought I was over that obsession didn't ya?!}

Image: TGF Max
Sentiment from TGF's My Guy Ian set
Coloured & stamped with PROMarkers and Memento
Papers: MME Quite Contrary "Jack & Jill"

Thanks for the visit, I'll catch y'all soonest :D
Hugs,

*I believe it was Milo from the Tweenies who first spoke the word Fabbarooney - gotta love the BBC for giving our kids such a fine introduction to the English language...

Blah, blah, blah {aka - I can't think of a good post title...}

Mornin' all!
Dontcha just love waking up to oodles of sunshine - it makes the world look so much happier.
*happy sigh*

Anyways, here's a little card I whipped up for Magnolia Down Under's "Masking" and Papertake's "Cutie Pie" challenges...

It's a kinda a matchbook card, but upside down...nah, I'm not sure why - I just felt like making something a teeny bit different! I was obviously having a "moment" while making it - it has pearls and sparkles and freaky-weird flowers...

Off to do some colouring - thanks for stopping by!

Thank you...

...for all the lovely get well wishes - they musta helped cos I'm feeling slightly less disgusting now :D

Here's a super-quick card I made that fits in with two challenges - Anya Ink's and Papertake's - they both have anything goes kinda challenges...

I'll hopefully feel up to a bit of a blog-hop later and get a chance to catch up with everyone, if I don't - I'm sorry!
Have a fabbitastic ol' day,

Got 'Bots?

Wanna meet my new favouritest, bestest stamp?
Yeah, course ya do!

Isn't he just the best?
As you've all probably gathered, I love making boys cards {no need for freaky-weird flowers on 'em} and I've been searching for the perfect Robot for a loooooong time - and now I have it!!!!
*insert happiest of happy squeal*

You can get your very own perfect 'bot right here at Dies to Die For and there are even the perfect 'bot papers and embellies here too - thank you MME and Pink Cat Studio for listening to those subliminal messages I've been sending both your ways...

I'm so enamoured with my perfect 'bot that I couldn't stop at makin' just a card - I made a li'l bookmark to tuck inside too.
I made this li'l fella to fit in with three challenges - ABC's "Paper Piecing" {the li'l green bit on his tummy, 'case you were a'wonderin'!}, Papertake Weeklys' "Buttons, Bows, Brads & Bling" {think I must've been saving those fabby screw-top brads for this chappie!} and last, but not least Sew Many Challenges "one For the Boys"

*sigh*
Love it when a stamp you've wanted forever lands in your inky li'l fingers...

Happy Sunday all,

When mix-tapes ruled the world...

A recent conversation with my nephew went something like this...

Me: Gotta girlfriend then? (great at getting straight to the point, me)
Him: Errrrr...yeah... (looking a bit shifty-eyed. Obviously wants to stop this convo before it starts)
Me: Really? Is it serious? Made her a mix-tape yet?
Him: A what tape?
Me: A mix-tape. (suddenly realise he probably doesn't even know what a tape is. He's 15, they don't exist in his world)
Him: Nooooo... (looks at me sadly. Probably thinks dementia has set in)
Me: Errr, a CD then? Put all your fave songs on a disc for her? (trying to show dementia has not set in and I don't think it's still 1989)
Him: Why would I do that? (not convinced. Still thinks I'm demented and senile)
Me: Cos it's romantic and what teenagers do?
Him: Is it? I don't know any teenagers who do that. (pretty certain he then muttered not in this century anyway, but can't be sure)
Me: So what is the etiquette these days then? A mutual ASBO and an iTunes download and then you know it's real love? (slightly hysterical. Wondering if maybe am demented)

So in honour of teenage boys everywhere (especially the one who in 1992 made me my first mix-tape) I made this... (which just so happens to fit in perfectly with this weeks Pretty Pink Papertake challenge - thanks for all the gorgeously pink inspiration girls!)

...complete with sulky lookin' Miss Anya & My Guy Ian (definite ASBO pair)...

...and room to put in a mix-tape - sorry, CD... ;)

Once upon a time...

... I had the mad, crazy idea to start a blog...

The very first challenge I joined in with was
Papertake Weeklys' very first challenge - so when I saw that it's their 100th challenge this week, I had to join in!

Their first challenge was
swirls - so I dug out some swirly pearls {heehee - such things didn't even exist back then!} and kinda followed Sketch 19...and yeah, I couldn't help but pull out the MME and a Pixie... ;)

Papertake will always have a special little place in my bloggy challenge heart - thanks for 100 posts of inspiration girls!

Oh. Yeah. The original card. I need to add a li'l disclaimer first - do NOT, under any circumstances, go for a peek without first checking you have rightly secured your Tena Ladies. Ready? It's
here... snort...

Hugs,

Thank you all for your messages, support, stone throwing, advice & secret squirrel emails after yesterdays post - glad I'm not the only one!
Lynn - I'm trying to get over the weird flower thing, todays card was covered in them just for you. Lubs ya!

Hey Pixie...

Hmmmmm, this first li'l pixie is for this weeks Papertake challenge - yeah, Dawny's sketch does seem to have got lost in translation somewhere... ;)

The next li'l pixie is for Tilda & Friends - we have a recipe for your ATC's this week, hop on over for a peek :)

I lubs him, yeah, yeah, yeah...

Rightio then peeps, time to meet the brand, shiny new love of my life - the oh-so-gorgeous Guiseppe Forks (yep, I really do lubs him!).

Now I didn't really need an excuse to get him inky, but the Lovely One is getting a teeny bit worried by this new obsession {yes, I've booked the therapy for him} so I'll enter my beloved into this weeks Papertake challenge... ;)

Happy Stampin'

Papertake Sketch...

Papertake Weekly has another one of Katharina's fabby sketches this week. I know it's not sketchily perfect, but for me it's pretty darn good!

Dream every dream...

Just a quickie from me today ~ Katharina has done another beautiful sketch for PTW & I just had to have a play!
Hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine :)

Lilac & lime sketches...

Here's my slightly late take on the PTW challenge for this week ~ Lucious Lime & Lilac.
I've used the latest sketch from the very talented Nicola ~ you can have a peek at it here =)

Hmmmm, I seem to be more than a little bit in love with this stamp at the mo ~ time to put it away for a bit methinks!

Some serious pinkness coming up...

I came home from work today & found the most gorgeous envelope full of goodies from the very lovely Dawn. The All Pink Girl is not only a creative genius, she's also a very, very wonderful friend, who I loves lots!
So here is an all pink card just for you Dawnie, well just for you & this weeks Papertake challenge... ;)

Ooooh, I have been round for a blog-hop, but for some reason Blogger isn't letting me leave comments :( I'll try again tomorrow!

Going digidol*...

Just had to have a play with these yummy Prima Hybrid downloads & the end result fits perfectly with the latest challenges over at Papertake Weekly & Arty Girlz. Oooooh & the little birdie means it fits in with the My Time to Craft challenge too!

Picture's rather shabby, not sure why ~ it couldn't possibly be my {lack of} photography skills, could it?

*Digidol is Digital in welsh, but funnier...well it makes me giggle anyway ;)
