Colouring's way more fun than ironing...

Mornin' all!
My darling Stamping Angel picked up a coupla Magnolia mini's for me at the NEC - isn't this one a cutie?! I've been dying to get them inked and when I saw the latest Passion for PROMarkers challenge earlier on I couldn't resist! I may be teetering on the edge of the challenge theme with her, but I'm sure her adorableness makes up for it!!!!

Only a quickie post - I spent the last hour making this instead of boring housey things, that ironing pile's looming large over me...

Anyways, here's a little card I whipped up for Magnolia Down Under's "Masking" and Papertake's "Cutie Pie" challenges...

It's a kinda a matchbook card, but upside down...nah, I'm not sure why - I just felt like making something a teeny bit different! I was obviously having a "moment" while making it - it has pearls and sparkles and freaky-weird flowers...

Daydreams..

A super-speedy card accompanied by a super-speedy post today - well, the sun's still shining and the beach has miraculously emptied...what's a girl to do? ;D

Hmmmmmm, not too sure what happened with Tilda's scarily coloured face {seriously, what's going on with that? Some kinda nasty skin condition maybe?}, but other than that I think I like it...I dug out my fave EK Success border punch, so it ties it rather nicely with this weeks Just Magnolia challenge {no scary faced Tilda's over there, they can obviously all colour in properly}.

I have a challenge tripler today - Magnolia Down Under have a "Thank You" theme, the Creative Card Crew wanna see "Vintage/Aged" {shoulda just blogged a pic of my face...} and Simon Says "It's so Distressing" - here's my offering...

This li'l cutie and the prettied-up candle's are a little thank you gift to a sweet friend :D

The card that nearly killed me...

...no, really - can you imagine the heart-stopping-oh-my-god-I-need-to-remember-to-breathe reaction this weeks CCT challenge caused? Flowers? Do I have to?

For those who don't know, I have flower issues. I love them & have piles & piles of them in my crafty space - I adore the creations I see that are beautifully covered in them and stalk the Prima blog in a rather worrying way, but me put 'em on one of my cards? Nah, they just look weird...

So I kept it simple and used the same layout as I did on the Cuddle Up card a few days ago.
And d'ya know what?
I likes it!
Well apart from the flowers, they look kinda weird...

now originally these were 2 different cards for 2 different challenges - blingy tilda for Papertake Weekly, scrappy knight for Scrummy Stash Cafe - but...in a {rare} moment of pure genius i noticed that they both bling {tilda's cute ickle shoes & scrappy's *twinkling* armour} & they were both made from scraps...

the scrummy stash cafe has a new blog with a scallops challenge ~ perfect excuse to bring out tilda again... oh & yes i know there's a great big blank bit on the card ~ this one's going in my "oh my god, i need a card & have no time to make one" box!

anyone else ordered their Sugar Nellies? i can't have been the only one sat at my computer all day waiting for them to go on sale... { will be harrassing the poor postman daily until they arrive! }
